Become a peer tutor

It is time to educate new tutors that will help and guide the first year students!

 Are You a social person that loves to meet a lot of new people and enjoys to work in teams? Then You should really become a peer tutor for one of our three English degree programmes. 
Those who study at an English Degree programme but understand and can talk Swedish, you are most welcome to join one of the other education days.

 During the education you will learn more about group dynamics, leadership and what is expected of You as tutors.
As a peer tutor you organize events and in general take care of the first year (Bachelor degree students) during their first year at Novia. You'll learn a lot about team work, leadership and event planning. You will also meet a lot of different people from other degree programmes and by that you'll create a large network of contacts. 
To become a peer tutor you need to be a member of the Student Union Novium. 

The education days are as follow: 
For students in Vaasa and Jakobstad we will meet in Vasa Wednesday 20th of April.
For students in Turku and Tammisaari we will meet in Turku Tuesday 26th of April. 

This is if you can speak Swedish! If you aren't able to follow the education in Swedish we will meet via Teams on Thursday 28th of April!

Deadline for sign up is 11.4 and please note that there are only 5 spots open as peer tutors for each degree programme.
