Novia University of Applied Sciences has a large number of international students every year. Some spend a short period of time at Novia and in Finland, while others spend up to four years at the UAS as a full-time English-speaking degree student. As a student organization, Novium is tasked with looking after the interests of international students, as well as their integration into the school and Finnish society.

Every autumn, the student union organizes a training for the international tutors who then take care of the international students by e.g. organizing events. In addition to the international tutors, Novium also has an international committee. The committee is a collection of international tutors and students who want to work for the interests of international students. Novium also cooperates with other student organizations regarding international students, in order to create a broader network and to make our students' time in Finland as rewarding as possible.
